Quick Tips to Boost Your Business

Article Marketing

Write a 400-word article once a week regarding an issue that is highly relevant to your business and publish it online. (There are plenty of free article submission sites so you won’t have to pay a dime for this.) Plant a link back to your website within the article. Just make sure that your article features useful information and is not a blatant sales letter for your business.

Backlinking

Simply set aside five to 10 minutes every day to place one link back to your main website (start with your homepage and then link to deeper pages once you have a solid list of links back to the homepage). Plant the link within a comment that is highly useful and will add to the discussion of the blog or forum. If you fail to make it useful or relevant and simply say “Thanks—very useful information” your comment and link are sure to be marked as spam and barred from the blog or forum by the website moderator.

Viral Topics

Businesses that harness the power of leverage are those that shoot to the top the quickest. Think of hot topics and issues relevant to your business that you can write about on your website blog or within an article published online. If the topic is hot enough people will spread the word for you and continue to pass on your info, essentially marketing your materials for you. You simply need to make the initial, front-end effort and it will hopefully take off and set your sales on fire.

Customer Loyalty

The best customers are those you already have. First, it is always cheaper to keep a current client than it is to market to new, prospective clients. In addition, if they bought from you once then they are much likelier to buy from you again.

This includes marketing to your current list of clients and offering upsells, such as additional marketing packages or accessories that supplement the current packages or products they already have. This is the classic “Would you like fries with that?” approach.

Consistent Marketing

Above all, make sure that you have some type of marketing in play every single day in order to continue growing your business.
