Did that headline catch your attention? Probably. But if you saw it in an email you’d probably automatically delete it before you even opened it. What’s the point? There’s a time and a place for such headlines. And since headlines still continue to be one of the absolute most powerful points of conversion for your sales, you’ve absolutely got to be careful with how you present your headlines. There is a very fine balance between attracting new clients through gripping, interest-creating headlines and simply spewing out nonsensical claims that no one is going to believe.

Stick to hitting people’s classic hot buttons, such as fear, desire to earn money, and health and you will surely gain their interest. And you should also make a great effort to be unique. Write a tired, often repeated headline and your message will automatically take on a cheap tone and the entire sales message will be disregarded. If you want to build your business, then you’ve got to single yourself out and be the lone orange among all the other apples out there. In addition, make sure that your headlines include a personal touch. Make the headline speak directly to your prospects and you will increase sales.
